Hough Green Clinic is a specialist beauty therapy, advanced skin care, hair removal and aesthetics clinic in Chester, Cheshire.
Established more than 30 years ago, founder Jane Bryant and her daughter Sam Capes offer a professional and trusted service to their loyal client base. Along with senior therapist, Lynn Smith, and advanced aesthetic nurse practitioner Karen Howell, the team are dedicated to providing the latest, scientifically-proven treatments to suit all skin types. All therapists are fully qualified and regularly attend training courses to ensure their knowledge and treatments are the most up to date available.
The clinic’s relaxing treatment rooms offer unrivalled privacy overlooking a beautiful Victorian walled garden and are situated less than a mile from Chester city centre, with easy access to North Wales via the nearby A55 expressway.

Therapist
After qualifying as a beauty therapist in Cheshire in 2006, Sam joined the family business soon afterwards. A married mother-of-two, she practises all treatments offered by the clinic, but specialises in laser hair removal, electrolysis and the treatment of skin tags and lesions. She is both ITEC and CIBTAC qualified.
‘We’re a family-run clinic founded more than three decades ago which continues to thrive thanks to our lovely, loyal client base who return time and again for our facials and treatments,’ she said. ‘I thoroughly enjoy helping our regulars and meeting new clients to try and solve their skin and hair issues.’
Jane Bryant
Owner
Jane established Hough Green Clinic in the lower ground floor of her Victorian semi-detached home in 1984 and has more than three decades experience in the beauty business.
She has a loyal client base and is proud to say she has helped generations of women from the same local families solve their skin care issues.
Lynn Smith
Therapist
Originally from Galway, in the Republic of Ireland, Lynn qualified as a beauty therapist in Dublin, in 2004. She worked in a number of high-profile clinics in the Irish capital, where she treated several celebrity clients, before moving to England after meeting her Cestrian husband in 2010.
Now married with two children, Lynn specialises in advanced skin care and waxing. She is also a qualified lecturer and has taught to ITEC diploma level at private and further education colleges across Cheshire.
‘I love helping clients solve their skin care problems and get great satisfaction from seeing their positive results,’ Lynn said.
‘Having healthy, hydrated skin equals happy clients and makes our work at Hough Green Clinic so worthwhile.’
Karen Howell
Advanced Aesthetic Nurse
Karen has been a registered nurse since 1999 and has more than 20 years’ experience in emergency medicine, working in busy A&E departments and providing care for acutely unwell patients.
She currently combines her role as an advanced nurse practitioner in the NHS with her passion for cosmetic procedures and aesthetics. A married mother-of-three, she offers a variety of treatments and is always training to ensure she has the best, most up to date knowledge of this new and growing area of skin care.
‘My aim is to provide clients with natural-looking enhancements in a safe environment,’ Karen said. ‘I only use regulated products of the best quality and I am committed to providing clients with the information they need to make considered decisions about their treatments before they embark on any skin care journey.’
